Hi there! I’m DeAndra, a Creative Entrepreneur, Educator and LA blogger.

HGTV Self-Taught interior Designer, Balloon Artist, Homebody, and Rose' Connoisseur.
I liked blush before it became a thing.

A look back on the past decade

Became a Wedding Planner and Floral Designer while working full-time in corporate.

Left my 9-5 job and started Party Shop Avenue and become a Full-Time Entrepreneur.

Launched my first online balloon course and coaching business.

I launched my first blog on my 30th birthday during the pandemic after years of putting it off. One of the best things I ever did!

Still being written..

humble beginnings!

see, dreams do come true! crazy, huh?

I was a personal assistant working in LA for a high-end interior designer. It felt like a dream. Until it... wasn't.

Working in the corporate world has its perks; you have a steady paycheck, you can take time off and still get paid. But all of that wasn't enough for me. I knew I had a greater purpose than sitting behind a desk working for someone else for the rest of my life. I decided it was time to find my purpose and create the life of my dreams. I left my 9-5 and never looked back. I will admit it was one of the scariest decisions of my life. But one for the books!

Live your best life! You only have one!

Then I finally found my passion, and turned my passion into a profitable business.

I’m DeAndra!  Creative entrepreneur, Artist, Blogger  and Educator. I live in Los Angeles, California — the San Fernando Valley, to be exact. I’m a true Valley girl at heart. I’m passionate about creativity and helping others build confidence within themselves to conquer the world.

I started off in the event industry in 2014 as a wedding planner. I then moved into event and floral design, as I wanted to leave the logistics behind and use my creative talents instead . At the time I still had a full-time job and worked events on the weekends. I was experiencing burnout because I wasn't living the life I wanted to live. After working several events, I started to get an itch for something more challenging. I wanted to step outside the box, and that is when everything changed.

So, in 2017, when I started my creative business Party Shop Avenue, I became a full-time entrepreneur making six figures. My business specializes in luxury balloon decor for all occasions. It only took me less than a year to get my business off the ground and become financially independent. Now it's time to fulfill my purpose and give back to others. That's why I created this platform for creatives who are lost and still trying to figure it out--because we all have passion and purpose within us, but sometimes we need a little help finding it.
